Ding Dong School Recordings

From the Collection of Frances Horwich ("Miss Frances")

Curator's note: Observe that the recordings in the "Ding Dong School" series were 10" 78 rpm recordings, rather than the 7" 45 rpm variety RCA Victor introduced in 1949.

Right: " 'Twas the Night Before Christmas" as read by Miss Frances.

Left: "Going to Bed at Night" and "Getting up in the Morning". Proper rest and sufficient sleep were always emphasized by "Miss Frances"

Right: "Fun with Instruments". (I wonder if Miss Frances made use of the NBC-Chicago staff musicians for this recording?)
