Right:
The
poster promoting the kickoff of the Museum of Broadcast Communication's "Kid
Show" exhibit on April 21, 2001. Featured are artifacts from a wide range
of Chicago-produced juvenile shows, including Kukla,
Fran & Ollie, Ding Dong School,
Super Circus, Romper
Room, Here's Geraldine, Elmer the Elephant and Bozo's Circus
(which WGN-TV recently put out of its misery).
The quality of these shows ranged (in descending order) from superb to wretched.
But one or more of them are bound to bring fond memories to those who grew up
in the video era.
