Curator's note: These collections of photos---taken by the curator and his colleagues---date from the middle 1970's to 1990. The first generation of news managers (best exemplified at channel 5 by Bill Ray) were gone. Their successors were more apt to follow the formulas of consultants than their own best judgement.
