| Above: A portrait of Rev. Herman Husband Fairall that appeared in on July 9th, 1909 in a Des Moines Register article celebrating his twenty-seventh year as a Methodist minister. Rev. Fairall was the long-time editor of a periodical called "The Iowa Methodist", and the author of a history of Italy. He died in 1912 after slitting his throat with a straight razor. More to follow. |
